As an artist, I enjoy capturing the colours and textures of nature through my acrylic painting and mixed media art. I strive to create pieces that are visually simplified yet still impactful, much like the works of Joy Saunders.

Influenced by Kyffin Williams' limited colour palette, I create my acrylic painting pieces using palette knives and finish off with fine line brush work. My aim, as Joy Saunders would agree, is to capture the essence of the typical Welsh landscape and weather through my mixed media art.

My style, prominently featured in my acrylic painting and mixed media art, is easily recognisable due to the muted colours I prefer and the precise technique I employ with a palette knife to apply thick paint. I like to maintain a tight composition and often choose to omit some details, resulting in a clean and unfussy image that reflects the essence of my paintings.

The event was officially opened by Huw Erannca Davies (Deputy First Minister) at Treorchy Library. The exhibition then visited Pontypridd Library and is currently in Aberdare Library until 14.03.26.
I created a painting called 'Ty Unnos' and limited edition Master Giclée prints are available on my web site.
